I knew the 2xU pants from my years of mountain biking. When I ended up with a deep vein thrombosis in my lower calf due to a severe muscle strain and tear, the physical therapist gave me a surgical compression sleeve. I knew immediately that 2xU would be better, and I would have one for both legs. I wasn't wrong, and my physical therapist was impressed. This is my second pair now. That injury was in 2021. I wear them for any physical work (my job) and biking hiking or whatever. They are peace of mind for worry free activities. So they are very tight at first, but very effective. I noticed they have improved the hem seam at the top, and it is more comfortable. It was either 2020 or 2021, and since the price was the same after those years… definitely 5 stars .
